About Watts + Diesel

Located in the MOSH Performance Center at Ballpark Commons, our facility combines sports enhancement training, physical therapy, and proper nutrition for ultimate results. Science-based programs are individually tailored to fit our member’s lifestyle—even if “once an athlete,” we welcome all skill and knowledge levels. Tenants SCW Soccer Club and Prospect Training Academy, along with two professional teams, anchor 77,000 SF of integrated sports training turf within the fieldhouse.

Position Objective

The Setup Crew reports to the Coordinator, Campus Services and are responsible for all event setup, breakdown, and cleanup across all Watts + Diesel facilities. Setup team members work under instruction of the Coordinator, Campus Services, as well as the Assistant General Manager, Watts + Diesel to ensure accuracy of client floor plans.

Responsibilities

  • Setup and take down chairs, tables, basketball floor, soccer goals, volleyball nets, pipe and drape, and other items as needed for meetings and events at the Watts + Diesel.
  • General maintenance of equipment and fixtures at W+D including, but not limited to, basketball hoops and floor, routine maintenance on equipment, and repairs where needed.
  • Work under the instruction of the Coordinator, Campus Services, and the Assistant General Manager, Watts + Diesel for event/rental floor plans.
  • Quickly and accurately setup any last-minute changes to event/rental floor plans.
  • Perform routine maintenance assignments.
  • Maintain all areas of the facility in safe and clean condition.
  • Attend work on time as scheduled and adheres to attendance policy.
  • Maintains proper storage, maintenance, and cleaning of all facility event/rental equipment.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, and late nights, weekends and/or holidays, event by event basis.
  • Assists guests whenever possible, referring all requests which are beyond the scope of responsibility immediately to the Coordinator, Campus Services.
  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management, to ensure the effective utilization of the company’s resources and to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Excellent verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills in which the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects on time is essential;
  • excellent situational adaptability.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently; exercise initiative, resourcefulness, and good judgement.
  • Ability to work flexible and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends and holidays as event calendar or deadlines dictate.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English; perform basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
