About Watts + Diesel

Located in the MOSH Performance Center at Ballpark Commons, our facility combines sports enhancement training, physical therapy, and proper nutrition for ultimate results. Science-based programs are individually tailored to fit our member’s lifestyle—even if “once an athlete,” we welcome all skill and knowledge levels. Tenants SCW Soccer Club and Prospect Training Academy, along with two professional teams, anchor 77,000 SF of integrated sports training turf within the fieldhouse.

Position Objective

Watts + Diesel Café is seeking hard working, energetic individuals for all kitchen positions including:

  • Grill Cook
  • Assembler
  • Fry Cook
  • Prep Cook

The primary responsibility of this position is to prepare food quickly, efficient, and accurately. We value dependable individuals who are willing to learn. You must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, yet fun environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all food items to order, following standard recipes and procedures within specified time limits.
  • Ensuring the preparation station and the kitchen are set up and stocked.
  • Operate and maintain cooking equipment such as grills, deep fryers, and griddles.
  • Verify that prepared food meets requirements for quality and quantity.
  • Clean food preparation area, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
  • Maintain established standards for food production and handling, cooking, housekeeping, sanitation, and safety.
  • Assist in training new personnel in proper procedures and guidelines.

    Requirements

    • A flexible schedule, filling in as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
    • Weekend availability.
    • Must have or be willing to obtain Food Handlers Certification and understand and follow OSHA and HACCP compliance standards.
    • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position.
    • Must be at least 16 years of age.
    • Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, squat and reach above shoulder level.
    • Comfortable working in an environment with exposure to extreme cold/hot temperatures.
    • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs.
