OPPORTUNITY: Oversee all food and beverage aspects for Franklin Field and create a one-of-a-kind customer experience for our fans. You will manage and lead a staff of full and part time employees in our various concession areas throughout the ballpark. As the Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for overseeing all events at Franklin Field including, but not limited to, Milkmen home games, Milky Way outdoor drive-in movies, special events, College and High School Graduations and other various youth sporting activities.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hire, train and evaluate incoming staff to create a fun business environment.
- Schedule all areas based on training and ballpark attendance.
- Lead by example with a hands-on management style
- Ensure speed of service for all guests in all areas
- Ensure responsible alcohol/beverage service.
- Create and update all systems for ordering, prep, pars, and rotation for kitchen.
- Track sales and inventory for profit/loss statement
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three years of management experience in fast paced restaurant or large concession business
- Leadership and commitment to high standards
- Excellent customer service skills, communication, details and follow up.
- Experience with P.O.S. systems and financials
- ServSafe Certified or the ability to obtain certification.
