Sponsorship Sales & Activation: Corporate Sponsorship Sales

Objective:

  • Account Managers aim to convert strong pipelines of prospects & customers through a solution-selling approach of ROC’s available sponsorship opportunities.

    Responsibilities:
    • Achieve sales goals by authoring & presenting approved, value-added offerings for prospects & customers
    • Attend local networking events for lead prospecting and relationship building
    • Ensure prospect database is maintained through keeping an accurate record of contact information and sales activity
    • Connect with leadership on status of accounts and generate related reports to support your accounts’ progression
    • Develop and execute next-step prospect strategies
    • Act as liaison between ROC Ventures and prospect, responding promptly to emails and phone calls, ultimately building rapport
    • Gather & understand prospect’s/customer’s strategic inputs (e.g., budget, business objectives, target audience, etc.) that will inform buying decisions and proposal ideation & creation
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (different positions & levels) to best position ROC for long-lasting relationships and renewals
    • Stay current on market conditions and needs, and competitor strategies, goals, and approaches

    Desired Qualities:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
    • Experience in consultative business to business sales, with the ability to converse with prospects at all levels, including the executive or owner level
    • Strong verbal communication, networking and relationship building skills required to achieve new business goals
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment to prospect and develop new business
    • Basic understanding of technology systems and Internet applications as well as CRM systems
    • Working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office
    • Strong organizational and documentation skills
    • Hunter mindset
